Philadelphia Eagles WR Riley Cooper has apologized for his use of a racial slur at a Kenny Chesney concert recorded on video tape.

The video was first obtained by Crossing Broad.

" I have apologized to my coach, to Jeffrey Lurie, to Howie Roseman and to my teammates. I owe an apology to the fans and to this community," Cooper's apology read.

In the video, Cooper is clearly heard with friends using the slur.

Teammates Danny Watkins and Jason Kelce appear to be in the video as well.

Cooper is slated to replace the injured Jeremy Maclin as the Eagles' no. 2 wide receiver.
