Sixers forward Robert Covington underwent successful surgery to repair the extensor tendon in his left middle finger. The injury according to a press release from the team, said Covington suffered the injury during a Dec. 28 game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The 27-year old struggled with his shot during the playoffs, hitting just 32.1% from the field in the postseason, including 26.8% vs. Boston.
