Roy Halladay allowed three earned runs over six innings Thursday in his rehab debut pitching for the Phillies' affiliate in the Gulf Coast League.

The veteran right-hander hasn't had any setbacks since shoulder surgery in May and could be back after two rehab starts if all goes well.  The veteran right-hander tossed a total of 87 pitches, yielding six hits and three walks while striking out four.

“I spoke with Roy today, and with people who were there to evaluate him, and they feel that he continues to make progress.  He is not as crisp as he wants to be yet.  It is likely that he will have at least one more rehab start.  He is scheduled to throw a bullpen in Philadelphia on Saturday and we’ll know where he will pitch on Tuesday once he completes that session.”
