ESPN and Outside The Lines obtained exclusive video of Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice throwing basketballs, pushing, kicking, cursing and using homophobic slurs at his players.

Rice was suspended for three games without pay and fined $50,000 in December for 'inappropriate behavior and language' that was considered a violation of the athletic department's policy.

In a statement to Tom Luicci of the Star-Ledger in December, Rice said:

"There's no one else to blame. So if someone thinks negatively of me, all I can try to do is try to change that. ... It's by my actions. It's about what I do daily with practice and what I do daily with my team. That's truly what's going to count."

According to Jerry Carino of Scarlet Scuttlebutt, Rutgers officials were fully prepared for the video to go public and this news will not effect Pernetti's decision to retain Rice for his fourth year of a five-year contract. However, that could change with the onslaught of criticism Pernetti and the University has received since the video's release.

Rice was hired in 2010 and coached his Scarlet Knight team to a 15-16 record going 5-13 in the Big East.

Rice is 44-51 with the Rutgers program.
