Rutgers has suspended head football coach Kyle Flood three games following an investigation into rules violations.

“I take full responsibility and accept the consequences of my actions, Flood said on Wednesday.

On top of the multiple off-field-issues, Flood has come under fire for when he sent an email, from a private address, to a professor inquiring into the academic standing of Nadir Barnwell, whose status had been in question.

“Moving forward, I will make sure I adhere to all University policies” Flood said.

“I have full confidence in Coach Norries Wilson to lead our team for the next three games” Rutgers AD Julie Hermann said today.

This news comes a day after a report by The Record of Bergen County, that Rutgers senior wide out Leonte Carroo was arrested on Saturday because he slammed a woman's head into the concrete outside the football facility.

According to The Record, the complaint noted that Carroo "pick[ed] her up and slamm[ed] her down on a concrete surface, injuring her left hip, both palms, left elbow and left side of the head."
