After the Sixers loss to the New York Knicks Thursday night, they are 3-7 in their last ten games.  Without their NBA MVP Center Joel Embiid, the Sixers have 27 games to go in the regular season and they are in jeopardy of not staying out of the Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament.  The 76ers are trying to win enough games to stay in the top six so they can get the bye week before the start of the 2024 NBA Playoffs.

The Flyers on the other hand are currently in a playoff spot, having won five of their last seven games since returning from the NHL All-Star Break.  With 25 games left on their NHL schedule and the Trade Deadline looming, the Flyers could make the playoffs for the first time since 2020.  It will be interesting headed down the stretch for both teams as fans are curious to see if both winter sports teams can make a postseason run.

The Phillies will start their Spring Training schedule on Saturday and with the roster pretty much set for the 2024 season, the team will focus on a quick start unlike the rocky first couple months of last season.  We will cover it all this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim!

On Saturday’s show, Mike Carlin makes his return to the studio and Producer Nick Earnshaw joins me as we will talk the interesting week in Philadelphia Sports.  We will talk Phillies baseball with former Phillies pitcher Tommy Greene in Hour One and then in Hour Two we will be joined by the Sports Book Consigliere Dave Sharapan.  "The Book" checks in each weekend from Las Vegas with his unique look at sports.  Plus the Philadelphia Wings and Profession Lacrosse are gaining popularity so we will hear from Wings Forward Mitch Jones about playing in Philly.

On Sunday’s show, my Locker Room Youth Movement is back in studio with Producer Nick Earnshaw doing double duty and "The Intern” Andrew Leeds joining the spirited sports conversation.  We will recap the week in Philly Sports. and a busy weekend for both the Flyers and Sixers.  Tim Crew from Tixforgood.org will check in to talk about how you can win trips to major sporting events by donating to your favorite charity.

All that and more this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim, heard every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to Noon on 973 ESPN Radio South Jersey.
