With Jerryd Bayless on the Sixers books for $8.6 million next season, the 76ers are reportedly "strongly considering" a buyout with the veteran guard to clear room to potentially make a play for LeBron James, according to Jordan Schultz of Yahoo Sports.

The 29-year-old played in just 39 games this past season, after missing all but three games of his first season in Philadelphia with a wrist injury. This year he scored 7.9 points per game while shooting 37.0 from three-point range.
