"Fortunately we're able to break the Sixers' all-time record for season-ticket memberships," Heck said.

The Sixers now rank first in the league in new full-season tickets packages, after selling a franchise record 14,000 season tickets packages so far this offseason, aided by the addition of the No. 1 overall pick.

"Now that we have the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, it just made things go faster." Sixers chief sales and marketing officer Christopher Heck told reporters.

More than anytime during the Iverson era, Barkley era, Dr. J. era.

"That is a testament to the strong fandom that we believe not only is this a true sports town, but it's a basketball town."

On Monday during his press conference, Sixers President of Basketball Operations Bryan Colangelo said he expected the team to play in front of sellout crowds for all 41 home games this season.
