Sixers to Work Out Point Guards on Monday
The 76ers are looking to add some point guard depth and could look at a couple of veterans to fill the void.The team will keep an eye on veterans Nate Robinson and Jordan Farmar and will bring in four NBDL point guards; Anthony "Cat" Barber, Yogi Ferrell, Chasson Randle and Briante Weber on Monday per the Philadelphia Inquire.
Robinson, 32, tried out for the Seattle Seahawks as a defensive back, played two games with New Orleans last season. The 5'9" guard averaged 11 points and three assists per game during his 12 NBA seasons, hitting .360 from three-point range.
Farmar averaged 6.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in four preseason games before being released by the Kings. He was resigned and appeared in two games for Sacramento, before being released again on Nov. 7.
Barber is averaging 13.9 points, 4.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds for the Delaware 87ers, he was with the Sixers during the preseason and had a shot to make the team, but a wrist injury kept him out
