Bill Miller

Lower Cape May head coach Bill Miller checked in Saturday morning to talk with Mike Frankel about their big win last night. LCM beat Pleasantville 14-13 last night, which was their first win in two seasons. Frankel and Miller began talking about last season and just how difficult that was finishing with a JV schedule. A huge step forward for the LCM program with a win last night.

Mike McGarry

Press of Atlantic City was in attendance at our Game of the Week last night, Buena vs. Oakcrest. What a wild game that was that saw the Chiefs win 36-35 in overtime. Head coach Jon Caputo decided to go for a 2-point conversion and was successful to win the game. Buena is now in the drivers seat with their remaining schedule and are having their best season since 2002. McGarry also touches base on the other CAL games from Friday night, including St. Joe and St. Augustine Prep.

Jon Caputo

The man of the hour is Buena head coach Jon Caputo. The Chiefs head coach talks with Mike Frankel about a big win last night which included a game winning 2-point conversion attempt in overtime. Caputo said that from the jump in overtime if they were able to score a TD, going for a 2-point conversion was the only option. The Chiefs are 4-0 and the student-athletes have worked really hard to get to this point. The support for the team has been great to see for the program with the stands and fences filled every home game.

Tom Williams

Our resident hall of fame reporter checked in to talk about the CAL action last night. Tom Williams goes through all the action from last night and also previews a big game with Bridgeton taking on Cedar Creek. Check out Prime Events online.
