With the NFL trade deadline approaching could we see Howie Roseman pull the trigger on another deal?

Multiple sources tell Mike Florio over at ProFootballTalk.com that the Eagles and 49ers have had discussions centered around disappointing wide receiver Torrey Smith. The former Raven signed a five-year, $40 million deal with the 49ers before the 2015 season, but has pretty much been a bust.

The one skill that he has been able to display is getting behind defensive backs, the 27-year old had just 33 catches for 663 yards, but did score four touchdowns last season.  He was once of the leagues top deep threats in 2014 in Baltimore with 49 catches, 767 yards and 11 scores.

Smith would give the Eagles a deep threat to complement Jordan Matthews.  The question is what would happen to former first-round pick Nelson Agholor?  Would the 49ers want to reunite him with Chip Kelly who drafted him just one season ago?

On the Eagles side of things, keep in mind, they traded for Dorial Green-Beckham late in training camp and he still hasn't really made an impact. So even if they made a deal for Smith, how much would he offer?
