Philadelphia guard Maalik Wayns is no stranger to the Wells Fargo Center, where he routinely spent time on the court  as a Villanova Wildcat. The undrafted rookie also starred in the Philadelphia Catholic League during his high school career.

Wayns is beginning to carve a role in the Sixers rotation, averaging six points per game during the team's past four contests and providing solid defensive play. His career-high 10 points helped Philadelphia top visiting Dallas 100-98 on Nov. 25.

I caught up with Wayns after the Sixers win over the Mavericks.
