Thaddeus Young is coming off a double-doubled with 14 points and 10 boards on Monday against the Knicks, hitting 7-of-12 shots from the field to go with one steal.  Young has yet to make the impact that he did during the preseason, but should grow into the starting role as the season progresses.

Spencer Hawes got off to a hot start this season, but went cold against the Knicks on Monday, scoring two points on 1-of-4 shooting with seven rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes off the bench.

In this edition of "Speaking Sixers" with Tyler Donohue, I caught up with both those guys about the early season start.
