The Phillies lose 5-2 in Cleveland as their playoff hopes are truly looking desperate. Drew Smyly was awful as he allowed eight base runners on and allowed four runs in two innings. Gabe Kapler rested JT Realmuto which I thought was a terrible decision considering every game is a must win game. What is he resting him for? Golf? The offense was quiet as they only had one inning of life, the fifth inning, where Maikel Franco had a two-rbi double. There are only three teams this year that have not recorded a five game win streak. The Phillies, Orioles, and Royals.... How pathetic!
