Wow. Where do I begin? The Phillies looked great.... to start the game. They had a seven run a few innings into the ball game. Vince Velasquez allowed seven earned runs in the bottom of the third to lose the lead. Bryce Harper is on paternity leave so Maikel Franco had an opportunity to be called up. He delivered offensively to help give the Phils the lead back along with Adam Haseley for a two-run lead. Franco was abysmal defensively though. Nick Pivetta didn't allow that lead to last long as the Marlins took the game over from there. The entire pitching staff was embarrassing as Ranger Suarez and Jared Hughes got rocked as well. It's crazy to believe we used a position player, Sean Rodriguez, to pitch after having a seven run lead in the third.
