Andy Reid’s Last Chance?
Could this be Andy Reid and Mike Vick’s last chance to save the season? That’s the question Mike and Todd asked the listeners today with a huge MNF game tonight. Mike thinks Andy Reid could actually be fired this week if the Eagles are embarrassed by 3 or 4 touchdowns. Todd Ranck believes Reid will be here for the rest of the season no matter how bad the Eagles finish. As always, tonight’s Eagles can be heard on 97.3 ESPN FM with coverage starting at 7 p.m.

Eagles Need Balance
Our Eagles Insider Ryan Messick chimed in with his thoughts on tonight’s game. Messick brought up a good point in that Eagles need to be balanced and stay balanced with their mix of run and pass plays because the Saints are worst in the NFL in both the pass and the run. Messick doesn’t believe that Reid’s job is in jeopardy during the season.

Our Outside View today took us down to the Bayou and we spoke with former Saint QB turned radio personality Bobby Hebert. Hebert believes that it will be a shootout tonight, and it will be a “coming out party” tonight for Mike Vick and the Eagles. Steve Spagnuolo is the defensive coordinator down there, but they have absolutely no pass rush and their personnel isn’t good enough. Read more of Hebert here.
Usually during this segment Jeff McLane gives wrap on the Eagles game that Sunday, but today McLane was on with Mike Gill previewing tonight’s MNF contest. McLane expects Eagles to pour on some points, Saints have given up over 400 yards in each of their 7 contests. Eagles need top establish the run early, and they need to get on the board early.
