Malcolm Jenkins

In this segment Mike and Todd give you their thoughts on the Malcolm Jenkins signing made by the Eagles yesterday. Mike Gill doesn't hate the move to sign Jenkins, but hates the 'thought process' by the team. There were better options at that safety out there like a Jarius Byrd or even Mike Mitchell, but chose to make a lesser move instead. Todd Ranck agrees.

Mike Triplett

ESPN.com covering the Saints., Triplett has been with Malcolm Jenkins in New Orleans his whole career and gave us an inside perspective on what we can expect from the former Saint. Triplett said that he is a 'high-low' type player where he will show signs of talent, while other times he will be inconsistent. He will make some plays at times, but he'll also miss tackles and blow coverages. Triplett did say that Jenkins is a great locker room influence and will always speak to the media after both wins and losses. Triplett also talks about the Saints big signing of Jairus Byrd, a player who the Eagles were reportedly after.

Jeff McLane

Covering the Eagles for Philly.com and Philadelphia Inquirer talked about the Malcolm Jenkins signing and why he wasnt surprised that the team did not come away with a name like T.J. Ward or Jairus Byrd. McLane did have the Eagles signing Jenkins before free agency began and said that the two parties were talking long ago. McLane also talks about the possibility of a Darrelle Revis signing to the Eagles, he was released by the Bucs today and the team reportedly has interest.

KC Joyner

ESPN.com football scientist called in to talk all things free agency and gave us his perspective on the Eagles transactions and who they whiffed on. Joyner goes into detail about why the Eagles should be in on Darrelle Revis. Joyner believes that the Eagles should not be gun shy on Revis because 'he's a whole lot better than Asomugha.'

5 Questions

1. Would Revis make the Eagles a Super Bowl contender?

2. If the Eagles got Revis, what would their biggest need be?

3.  How has the balance of power in the NFC East shifted so far this off season?

4. Sixers/Kings tonight will they snap their skid?

5. Cole Hamels a month behind schedule. He’s averaged 12 wins a year the last 5.. I’m going to set the o/u at 10. What do you take?
