Garrett Reid found dead

Todd Ranck opened up his show with some sad, somber news about the untimely passing of the eldest son of Andy Reid, Garrett.  We played some clips of players, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie and GM Howie Roseman.  Yesterday after practice Lurie said that the team expects Reid back for the Eagles preseason opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday.  Although Todd wouldn't choose to do that himself, he refuses to put judgement on how Reid will cope with the loss of his son.

Part II:

Olympics

Tried to shift gears at 1:30 and Todd talked about the Olympics over the weekend.  Todd has a problem with the way the gymnastics were programmed. Both the team and all-around medals have already been awarded and Todd thinks that the athletes have no care for winning anymore.  Todd also talked about the 100M race Usain Bolt competed and won in over the weekend.  Fellow Jamaican Johan Blake took second, while American Justin Gatlin netted the bronze. Also gave a story about what Ryan Lochte has been up to since his last swimming event in London.
