Dom Brown for Joey Bats?

Mike and Todd talk about a possible Domonic Brown for Joey Bats trade reported last night by FOX 29. It has since been rebuffed, but is it still possible? Both Mike and Todd do like the move because at least it shows some direction by Ruben Amaro in that a 2 year plan could be in the works. Many of the older, core players on the Phillies have 2-3 years remaining on their contracts as does Bautista. Is that worth giving up on Domonic Brown for?

ESPN.com called in to talk about the signing of Marlo Byrd yesterday and the non-news of the day of a potential Joey Bats for Domonic Brown trade. Law said that the year Byrd had last season was a fluke and he will not repeat that type of season. On a Domonic Brown trade: the one for Bats was 'totally bogus.' But Law said that the Phillies do not have the trade pieces for a David Price and cannot envision a scenario where they win 90 games next season. Follow Law on Twitter.
