The NFL combine is underway in Indianapolis, and all NFL talent scouting eyes are looking for hidden gems.

Scott Wright is the President of the website Draftcountdown.com thinks a former St. Augustine Prep and Penn State alum could turn some heads at the combine this week.

“I have a top-50 grade on him,” Wright told me on the Sports Bash during Tuesday's show. “I think he is underrated to be honest, I think he has a tremendous blend of size and athleticism.  Not particularly a flashy player, but a lot of what he does doesn't show up in the box score, he kind of opens things up for other players to make those big splash plays.”

Over the last two seasons, the 6-foot-4, 325-pound redshirt junior's recorded 119 tackles and 6.5 sacks, including a career-best 78 tackles (15 for loss) this season.

“I think he is going to go somewhere in the back end of round one or early to mid-round two,” Wright said. “The only reason he would not be a first round pick if he isn't is because of the depth at the position, but Austin Johnson is a heck of a player.”
