PHILADELPHIA (973espn.com) - The Eagles take flight for Minneapolis on Sunday, a week ahead of Super Bowl LII against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots set for U.S. Bank Stadium.

Doug Pederson and his team are scheduled to arrive in the Twin Cities at 4:30 ET (3:30 local time) a day ahead of the AFC Champion Patriots.

From there it's off to the team hotel, the Radisson Blu at the Mall of America, a short drive from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport.

Much is made of all the distractions potentially pulling the focus away from the game and here's a quick look at the Eagles' itinerary for the week:

MONDAY - Media Night at St. Paul's Xcel Energy Center at 9:00 ET, the home of the NHL's Minnesota Wild. This is where you get to see softballs served up by entertainment reporters, celebrities and even a real scribe or two. The Eagles are second up on the night and will not be entertaining the goofy queries until 10 PM ET.

TUESDAY - The Eagles meet the media at the Mall of America at 1:40 ET before heading to practice for the first time during their stay in the Gopher State. As the "visitor" in the game, the Eagles will be practicing at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis while the Patriots are getting the Vikings' digs in Eden Prairie, a shorter ride.

One positive is that the University of Minnesota recently completed a major refurbishment of their football facilities while the Vikings are closing down Winter Park, their long-time home, and moving to the new state-of-the-art-facility in Eagan about 20 minutes away, the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, before next season.

WEDNESDAY - The Eagles will meet the media at 10:15 AM local time at the Mall of America and again practice at the University of Minnesota after.

THURSDAY - The final media availability of the week again starts at 10:15 AM local time at the mall before a third practice at the Gophers' facility. The Sports Bash will also be live from Radio Row at The Mall of America starting at 2 PM ET.

FRIDAY - "A one-handed" Friday practice will take place at the University of Minnesota and The Sports Bash will again be live on Radio Row at The Mall of America.

SATURDAY - The Eagles will decompress a bit and likely hold a final walkthrough before Doug Pederson addresses the team to get them ready for Super Bowl LII.

SUNDAY - Super Bowl LII kicks off at 6:30 ET at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Eagles will leave from The Mall of America for the stadium with a police escort sometime in the early afternoon.

MONDAY - The coach of the winning team and MVP of the Super Bowl LII will have a Monday morning press conference at the Mall of America and the Eagles will return to Philadelphia after that.

TUESDAY - Parade down Broad Street?
