The opening night of the Cape-Atlantic League playoff went as planned as all the top seeds held true.

The NJSIAA boys basketball tournament is fast approaching, to the the committee seeded the teams and released the pairings for the tournament that begins March. Many of the games will look like a regular night in the Cape Atlantic League with tons of CAL pairings in all the groups...

The 2015 high school basketball season in South Jersey is underway and 97.3 ESPN will be bringing you the best match-ups from around the Cape-Atlantic League and all across South Jersey.

It has been a long and exciting fall sports season across South Jersey and to celebrate all of the hard work that's been put in, 97.3 ESPN and our advertising partners, Tuckahoe Turf Farms are pleased to finally announce which local school will win a brand new field.

The high school football playoff picture in South Jersey looks a little clearer now.

Middle Township's new single-season scoring leader, Jenna Herlihy took home last week's 97.3 ESPN High School Athlete of the Week honors. Congrats to Jenna, and good luck to her and the rest of Panthers as their playoff run begins this weekend.

Congratulations, once again, to Ocean City's Devon Grisbaum. Not only was it Devon's second Athlete of the Week win in her high school career, but it was the Red Raiders' third win so far this sports season.
