Short answer: No. But upon being introduced to the media on Saturday afternoon, Okafor, J.P. Tokoto and Richaun Holmes were obligated for a photo op holding up their new Sixer jerseys. NOTE: These were the actual new ones, not bad looking...

With the NBA Draft in the books and free agency starting on Wednesday, Sixers GM Sam Hinkie said that the 76ers will be looking to add perimeter players to the roster during free agency and didn't rule out attempting to sign a player to a max deal.

While many fans wanted Ohio State guard D'Angelo Russell, the Sixers ended up with Duke big man Jahlil Okafor, so is this a bad thing? When you have the best low-post player slip to you in the draft it should be a blessing, right? That's what happened in Thursday night's draft when the Los Angeles Lakers -- to the surprise of some --- not to tall, decided to take Ohio State freshman guard D'Angelo Russell second overall...

The 76ers have selected Duke center Jahlil Okafor with the third pick in the NBA Draft. Okafor averaged 17.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in his lone season at Duke. Many fans thought maybe Okafor was taken just to be traded but according to Sixers GM Sam Hinkie that's not the case as Andy Katz reported...

Earlier on Monday, Sixers fans got the news that the 12th pick in the 2014 draft, Dario Saric, would not be playing for in Philadelphia for the 2015-2016 season.  He will remain in Turkey for at least one more season, the buyout was just too much for the Sixers...

According to reports, Sixers big man Joel Embiid suffered a setback in the healing process in his right foot, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
