The Sixers and Kings have agreed to a deal that would send Jason Thompson, Carl Landry, and Nik Stauskas to Philadelphia, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

With the NBA Draft in the books and free agency starting on Wednesday, Sixers GM Sam Hinkie said that the 76ers will be looking to add perimeter players to the roster during free agency and didn't rule out attempting to sign a player to a max deal.

While many fans wanted Ohio State guard D'Angelo Russell, the Sixers ended up with Duke big man Jahlil Okafor, so is this a bad thing? "They were fortunate to get him," ESPN basketball insider Jeff Goodman told me on the Sports Bash.  "They got a player that most people thought would go number one for most of the year and most of the last couple of years...

The 76ers have selected Duke center Jahlil Okafor with the third pick in the NBA Draft. Okafor averaged 17.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in his lone season at Duke. Many fans thought maybe Okafor was taken just to be traded but according to Sixers GM Sam Hinkie that's not the case as Andy Katz reported...

So the Celtics and Sixers rivalry seems like it might be back.
