The Flyers made first cuts of training camp on Tuesday's off day, reducing the roster by five players by loaning three to juniors and releasing two from camp invites.
The clear focus of the Flyers draft was on the big picture of the rebuild, drafting for upside. Now, they have time to develop these prospects to the fullest with a new player development team in place.
