Schoppy Awards

Each and every year in South Jersey, Prime Events honors one graduating male and one graduating female student-athlete from the Cape-Atlantic League. It's called the SCHOPPY Awards, and this year, 97.3 ESPN has been given a vote.

Below are the 12 graduating, female finalists for the 2015 SCHOPPY Award. The list includes their name, high school, and where they're heading after they graduate. We've also included a few highlights of their Cape-Atlantic League careers.

Organizers were taking a "leap" of faith when they came up with the idea for the newest triathlon event in South Jersey. Last weekend, they, like the more than 1,000 participants, found out that sometimes even the biggest risks are worth taking...
