Did you miss the Sports Bash or do you just want to listen to it again?

The Sports Bash ON DEMAND gives you the chance to go back and hear what you missed.  Its the Sports Bash with Mike Gill and Todd Ranck.

Here is today’s show: Monday April 30th, 2012.

What a crazy weekend!

2:00 hour

Mike Gill and Ryan Messick took in a little golf this morning at the Seaview Country Club for the LPGA Tour coming to Galloway, NJ.  Ryan said he shot "good" while Mike always says "I stink," but rumor is that he did well in the putting and chipping department.

Two Eagles on at the same time

Newest Eagles Vinny Curry and Brandon Boykin call in to the show and talk about being drafted by the Eagles over the weekend.  Curry who is from NJ is a lifelong Eagles fan and said "as soon as I saw that 215 area code call my phone I was super excited." Boykin said the Eagles coaches have already told him he can come in and compete for the slot corner position and also compete for a return job.

Trout called up

Spent a few minutes on talking about the Anaheim Angels calling up Millville High School star Mike Trout and starting him at the lead off position in CF.  The Washington Nationals also called up their stud OF prospect in Bryce Harper. The Phillies will face Harper and the Nationals in Washington D.C. this week part of a six game road trip.

3:00 hour

We open up the second hour with talk about the Flyers Game 1 win over the Devils yesterday. Mike Gill is uncertain about the Flyers style of play and wonder if they can make a run with how they are winning these games. A caller called in and said the turning point of that game was the top shelf Giroux scored against Brodeur.  We all agree.

Bill Clement on air

We call up Flyers broadcaster Bill Clement and ask him about the Flyers Game 1 victory yesterday. Clement said the Flyers offense and speed exposed the Devils last night and said they arent as dynamic as people say they are. He also said the return of JVR was big for the Flyers and the week off did wonders for his broken foot and skating ability.

Howie Roseman calls in

Before we could even get to Buy/Sell, Eagles GM Howie Roseman called into the hotline to talk about the Eagles 2012 Draft. One player he was excited to see slip past his projection was LB Mychal Kendricks, Vinny Curry as well.  He also said the next order of business is to extend LeSean Mccoy, wanting "to make him an Eagle for a long time."

4:00 hour

Took a few calls on the NFL Draft talking about how great of a draft the Eagles had.  Mike and Todd also got into a debate about the Washington Redskins taking MSU QB Kirk Cousins in the 4th round. Todd is saying the Redskins are just using "Cousins as a pawn and that's not fair."

Scott Wright talks draft

Scott Wright, draftcountdown.com calls in and gives us his grade to the Eagles draft and other teams throughout the league.  Scott said this Eagles selection of Fletcher Cox was a no brainer, especially for what they gave up.  He also loved the addition the Cowboys made by trading up to select LSU CB Morris Claiborne.

5:00 hour

Mike Gill opens up the last hour on Monday talking Sixers and Bulls.  He does actually see ways the Sixers can now beat the Bulls without M.V.P. Derrick Rose.  Mike was stressing the importance of rebounding and three-point shooting, but he still thinks Bulls win the series.
