Sixers PA Job?

Mike and Todd both have some great news for the listeners+followers of The Sportsbash! Both Mike and Todd have made it through the preliminary rounds of the Philadelphia 76ers PA Announcer open auditions. Next week both will travel up to The Wells Fargo Center and give it their best shot in hopes of landing the gig. We shall see:

DeSean Jackson goes down

DeSean Jackson did not practice today with a sore hamstring injury, Jeremy Maclin is still out with his hip flexor. With your two top WR out with injuries, the Eagles depth at WR is called into question. Would you make a move at WR if Maclin is out for a few weeks? Terrell Owens, Chad Johnson and Plaxico Burress are patiently waiting by their phones. Eagles Coach Andy Reid believes Jackson will be able to play.

Greg Murphy

The Philadelphia Phillies have won 7 in a row and are currently only three games back in the Wild Card. They are now in Houston for four games to take on the Astros and Greg Murphy, CSN Philly, called in to preview the series. He said the team and clubhouse now know that they are in it and have the confidence. The bullpen is pitching at a high level, and these four games against the Astros could really put them in the drivers seat. Murphy says to also watch out for the Milwaukee Brewers, they are just as hot as the Phillies have been.
