Philadelphia’s list of inactive players was noteworthy because of one name showed up on the list that was a bit unexpected: tight end Zach Ertz.

The Eagles tight end is inactive, per ESPN's Adam Shefter, Ertz struggled through pre-game warmups after pulling his hamstring in Thursday's practice.

With Ertz out of the line-up, Trey Burton is expected to start and should split time with veteran Brent Celek, who will get some more time helping block Von Miller. It will be interesting to see, with Ertz out if Burton plays a majority of the snaps against the Broncos with his pass catching ability, or Celek with his blocking ability.  Denver is one of the worst teams in the league when it comes to covering the tight end.

New running back Jay Ajayi, who was acquired on Tuesday, will be in uniform and active for Philly. His addition could push Wendell Smallwood  or Corey Clement out of the rotation.

Cornerback Ronald Darby is inactive again this week, he has been out since dislocating his ankle in Week 1, but could be ready after next week's bye for the Eagles Week 11 game agaisnt the Cowboys.

The rest of the Eagles inactives are: CB Ronald Darby, DE Steven Means, DL Elijah Qualls, QB Nate Sudfeld, OT Taylor Hart, and WR Shelton Gibson.
