Eagles defensive tackle Tim Jernigan was experiencing backs spasms during the game against the Washington Redskins and will not return.

Jernigan was seen standing on sideline with no helmet away from the defense early in the game, a clear indication he was not going to return to the game.

He later went into the locker room and did not return.

He was officially ruled out by the Eagles and his night is done.

Jernigan had surgery to repair a herniated disc in his back in May, and made his season debut two weeks ago against the Saints.
