Timber Creek football continues to produce top-tier college prospects on a perennial basis. Sophomore wide receiver Cam Chambers is the latest in a long line of college recruits to emerge on the Chargers roster.

He is rated No. 14 nationally in 247Sports’ newly-released 2016 recruiting class rankings. Chambers, a 4-star prospect, was named the MaxPreps National Sophomore Player of the Year following an outstanding 2013 campaign.

The 6’3”, 195-pound playmaker caught 57 passes for 1,196 yards and 12 touchdowns, helping lead Timber Creek to another South Jersey title game. He lined up opposite of Adonis Jennings in an explosive passing attack. Jennings signed to play at Pittsburgh and will be a freshman on campus this fall. Chambers has already collected an abundance of collegiate opportunities.

His scholarship offer list includes Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Arkansas, Rutgers and West Virginia. He isn’t eligible to sign his national letter of intent until February 2016. 247Sports lists him as the No. 83 overall prospect in America for the 2016 class.
