Times for State Finals Announced

The NJSIAA released the date and times for the football sectional finals that will take place on the weekend of December 2nd and 3rd.  Check back to www.973espn.com to see what games we will be covering on the radio.  Here is a quick run-down of the dates and times of the area teams that will be competing for sectional titles.

In the South Jersey Group IV final, second seeded Millville will play the top seed Pennsauken at 7 p.m. on Friday December 2nd at Rowan University.

In a re-match of the 2009 Group III final, Hammonton will play Timber Creek at 4 p.m. on December 3rd at Rowan University for South Jersey Group 3 final; Hammonton won the 2009 meeting.

Holy Spirit will face Camden Catholic at 7 p.m. on December 2nd at The College of New Jersey in Non-Public Group II.

Head coach Paul Sacco and his St. Joseph Wildcats will be in search of the school's 21st NJSIAA sectional title on December 3rd at 1 p.m also at The College of New Jersey. The Wildcats will face St. Mary (Rutherford) in Non-Public Group I final.
