As the MLB hot stove continues to heat up, a pair of teams have emerged for Aaron Nola's services.

According to MLB insider Jon Morosi of the MLB Network, the Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals are two teams showing interest in Nola

Nola made 32 starts and went 12-9 with a 4.46 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and a 202 strikeouts in 193.2 during the 2023 regular season. However, it was his playoff performance that will likely get him paid.  The right-handerhas a solid 2.35 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 23 strikeouts across 23 innings of work in his four playoff starts. Overall should have plenty of suitors due to his overall steadiness. Nola hasn't missed a start since 2017 and is one of the most durable pitchers in baseball.

Many reports have suggested that the Phillies would like to have Nola back, but they seem to be far apart in terms of money.

Atlanta, a division rival who has been eliminated by the Phillies in each of the past two postseasons has a connection to Nola.  Braves pitching coach Rick Kranitz held the same position for the Phillies from 2016-2018 and worked with Nola.

The Cardinals could be an interesting fit for Nola, after missing the playoffs in 2023, they could look to restock, with thoughts of making a quick turnarond in the wide open N.L. Central.
