Yesterday, a video of the super hot Kate Upton doing the Cat Daddy went viral. Well her model friends weren’t about to let her have all the limelight, and thank God for that.

Do we know what the Cat Daddy is? No. Do we care? We aren’t really losing any sleep over it. All we know is that gorgeous bikini models the world over are doing the dance in super tiny clothes and that’s enough for us to proclaim the Cat Daddy the greatest dance of all time. Sorry fox trot, it was only a matter of time.

As hot as it was to watch Kate Upton shake her puss, um, cat daddy around, Melanie Iglesias and Lisa Ramos have outdone her with the tag team action in this video. Plus, no creepy photographer guy in the video. The only thing that can top this is if Upton joined them in a follow-up video. Pants off, dance off! Everyone get in a circle!

Ladies, we want to learn how to Cat Daddy. Will you teach us? We’ll just watch you first and hopefully catch on. Give us seven or eight hours.

In a game on Tuesday night, Rockies’ pitcher Jamie Moyer, 49, became the oldest major league pitcher to earn a win. ”It’s a great night for the Rockies, as far as winning a baseball game. But it’s an historic night for one tremendous human being,” Rockies manager Jim Tracy said after the game.

Athletes in all sports have long tried to hold on for years after their primes are over, with mixed results. Here’s a look at 10 athletes who have in recent years proven the opposition wrong while racking up some amazing feats:

BASEBALL

Moyer isn’t baseball’s first journeyman, and he won’t be the last. At the age of 40 last August Jim Thome became the oldest player to join the 600 home run club. What was so noteworthy about the moment was how little excitement Thome expressed. He was surely proud of his achievement, but he was at the ballpark that night for one purpose: to help win the game for his team.

BASKETBALL

After decades of showing elusive moves on the court, Steve Nash appears to finally be slowing down a bit, though it’s hard to tell. Over the past two seasons, Nash became the oldest player to lead the NBA in assists, and then broke his own record the following year. He’s slotted now, at 38, to finish second in the league behind Rajon Rondo this year. His consistency is most amazing, as he’s averaged just about 11 dishes per game every season since he returned to the Suns in 2004.

FOOTBALL

In 2010, while a member of the Indianapolis Colts, then 42-year-old kicker Matt Stover became the oldest player in Super Bowl history. ”It’s been a ride, to say the least,” Stover said. It was probably fate that delivered him there after reliable Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri had to have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee that created an opening for Stover to step in.

HOCKEY

Last June, 43-year-old Mark Recchi became the oldest player to ever score a goal in the Stanley Cup final as he led the Bruins to a Stanley Cup win. He didn’t show any signs of slowing down, netting 10 points in 13 games during the playoffs. Shortly afterward, Recchi announced his retirement, a happy man. “It’s the end for me,” he said. “This is the last time I get the chance,” he said.

GOLF

Tom Watson took home first place at the Senior PGA Championship in May 2011 at the age of 61, making him the oldest person to win a major on the senior tour. “Obviously, it never ceases to be enjoyable, winning a golf tournament,” he said. “I’ll go back and think about this tournament. If this is the last tournament I ever win, it’s not a bad one to win.” Other golfers marveled at how long and steady Watson’s career has been. Consider Watson among the most surprised. “Lo and behold, I started making good swings again,” he said.

SOCCER

On some rare occasions, a soccer player will outlast his critics and prove he still has some gas left in his tank. For Brad Friedel, that satisfaction came in February 2011 when he became the oldest player to take the field for Aston Villa. But it was all business for him. “We’re not paid to go out and get records — unless it means winning trophies. Age is just a number. I don’t think about it, I just go by how I feel,” he said. Now 41, Friedel plays for the Tottenham Hotspur and is the Premier League record holder for most consecutive appearances with 304.

TENNIS

There’s no doubt that Roger Federer has lost a step in recent years, but in November he became the oldest player to win the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals. That’s significant for the 30-year-old because it was the last tournament of the season, and it allowed Federer to carry a winning streak of 17 matches into this spring. “I couldn’t be more happy and I couldn’t be more exhausted,” he said after the match.

BOXING

Bernard Hopkins achieved the unthinkable in May 2011 when he became the oldest fighter to win a major world championship, after he took home the WBC light heavyweight title. Hopkins, 46, beat Jean Pascal to bring his career record to 52-5-2. He eclipsed George Foreman’s previous record by roughly six months. “I won’t retire until I’m 50,” Hopkins said after the match.

RUNNING

In July 2010, Merlene Ottey, at age 50, became the oldest athlete to compete at the European Championships after she anchored Slovenia’s 400 women’s relay team. But the team finished 7th in that heat, ending her run She has 29 medals from her time at major competitions, which includes seven Olympic Games. Perhaps most impressive is the bronze medal she took home at the 1992 Barcelona Games when she was 32 years old.

horse racing

We might see history made in 2016 at the Olympic Games, if Japanese equestrian Hiroshi Hoketsu gets his way. He’s expected to compete at the London Olympics this summer at the ripe old age of 71, and he’s hoping to break the all-time mark for oldest athlete at the next one. “I will go on as long as it is possible — physically and as far as circumstances permit,” Hoketsu, who became in 2008 the oldest Japanese athlete to attend any Olympics, said. To break the all-time mark, though, he’ll likely have to replace his horse, Whisper, who’s gotten too old to compete.

After weeks of speculation as to where he’d land, Peyton Manning finally chose Denver as the next city he’ll call home. The former Colt and future Hall of Fame quarterback immediately turns the Broncos into a Super Bowl contender. But some wonder how much gas Manning has left in the tank at age 36 and coming off neck surgery that sidelined him for all of last season. Here’s a look back at 7 other quarterbacks who similarly tried to find the old magic with a new team late into their careers:

BRETT FAVRE

Many believed that Favre should have let it go with nothing left to prove following the 2007 season. That way, he could have retired a Green Pay Packer. And he retired, ever so briefly. Favre essentially forced the Packers to trade him, and he was shipped to the Jets. After a decent season in which the Jets finished 9-7, he hung up his cleats again. But not for long. He returned in 2009, at age 40, with the Vikings and took them to an NFC North title. After two seasons in Minnesota, Favre had had enough and left the game for good in 2010. Still, because of his indecision, his name pops up each year as a free agent someone might pursue.

WARREN MOON

Moon’s fans will cite his decade in Houston as the rise of his fame and the real reason why the former quarterback made it into the Hall of Fame in 2006. But you have to give him credit for the latter half of his career, too, when he had equally great success playing for the Vikings and the Seahawks. In his first year in Minnesota, Moon showed he still had it, throwing for 4,264 yards and leading the Vikings to the playoffs. After two years there, Moon left for Seattle where he again proved he could still play, earning his ninth Pro Bowl selection. But that’s when injuries caught up with him and forced him to retire after the 1999 season after two seasons on the sideline with the Chiefs.

JOE MONTANA

He set new standards for quarterbacks with his out-of-this-world years as a 49er, but with the Niners grooming Steve Young to take over, Montana was the odd man out. In 1993, he joined the Chiefs at age 37. “It wasn’t like I had lost my job because I had played bad,” Montana said then. They got to the AFC title game that year, and back to the playoffs the year afterward. But after the ’94 season, Montana retired. For Chiefs fans, Montana’s signing meant more — he invigorated a struggling franchise.

KEN STABLER

He arrived in Houston in 1980 after being the face of the Raiders throughout the ’70s. Houston made the playoffs, going 11-5, Stabler’s first year, but lost to, you guessed it, the Raiders. After his second season in Houston, Stabler left for New Orleans, where he played for three more years. During those five seasons, his passer rating was a measly 71.8 and he threw more interceptions than touchdowns. Some argue that Stabler’s inability to replicate his early success later in his career has kept him out of the Hall of Fame. A league MVP and a Super Bowl victory aren’t enough, it seems.

JOE NAMATH

Football wouldn’t be where it is today without Namath leading the Jets to a victory in Super Bowl III. He’s still one of the most famous football players ever to suit up. “Broadway Joe,” wanting to keep the show going, took over for the Rams in 1977 — without much success, however. “Namath looked lost and forlorn, especially so after Week 4, when he was reduced to a backup who never played,” said one writer. He went 2-2 in his season as the Rams’ starter. After a particularly brutal matchup with the Chicago Bears in a Monday Night showdown, Namath had the good sense to walk away.

JOHNNY UNITAS

It’s the year you wish he could get back. When Unitas retired, he held the career records for most completions, passing yards, and touchdowns than anyone who came before him. He’s best remembered as a Baltimore Colt, but he left the game as a member of the Chargers after spending the 1973 season with them, as a backup. His accolades are endless, the first quarterback ever to throw for 40,000 passing yards in his career, for one. He was named Player of the Decade for the 1960s. We can forgive one year for the whole.

Y.A. TITTLE

He played for the 49ers throughout the ’50s, but only as a part-time starter, so he left to take over for the New York Giants in 1961. Did he have anything left when he arrived? Well, Tittle only led the Giants to three consecutive Eastern Conference championships, winning league MVP in 1963. He came into his own while playing in New York. “Without the four seasons in New York at the end of his 17-year career, Tittle probably wouldn’t have been considered Hall of Fame material,” said Sports Illustrated’s Don Banks. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1971.

Peyton Manning and Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay held a press conference Wednesday in which Irsay announced that the Colts were cutting Manning, the greatest sports figure Indianapolis has ever seen, rather than pay him a $28 million roster bonus.

What made the press conference extraordinary was Manning’s reaction to being cut. Instead of sounding bitter about missing out on such a huge chunk of change, Manning couldn’t have been more gracious. The 35-year-old, who missed last season with a neck injury but hopes to play again in 2012, tearfully thanked Irsay for all their years together. And he repeatedly thanked the people of Indianapolis for being so good to him, and such great fans.

Apparently that generosity of spirit also extends to Manning’s tipping. This bill comes from the Angus Barn restaurant in Raleigh, NC, where Manning had been working out.

Yup, that’s $200 bucks on top of the 18% included gratuity. With Manning out in Indianapolis, the future hall-of-famer and one of sports’ classiest guys is bound to make fans (and waiters) in another NFL city very happy. Check out a video of Wednesday’s emotional press conference below.

Will Ferrell, last seen wondering the fields of North Platte, Nebraska, popped up at another unexpected locale Wednesday night.

The funnyman was in New Orleans filming ‘Dog Fight.’ So he decided to hop on over to the New Orleans Arena and do the intros for the Hornets-Chicago Bulls game.

Ferrell’s appearance clearly delighted the crowd. After all, the Hornets are 4-22, so the fans that had showed up weren’t necessarily there for the quality basketball. The players didn’t react much to the intros, which included made up factiods like Hornets’ guard Marco Belinelli actually hates Italian food, and 30-year old Bulls’ forward Carlos Boozer lives with his mom.

But after the game Boozer, who probably got the worst of it, was nothing but honored to be spoofed by Ferrell. “We’re all Will Ferrell fans,” he explained. “One of the funniest dudes of our generation, man.”

Ferrell’s quip also seemed to motive Boozer, who scored 18 points as the Bulls walloped the hapless Hornets 90 to 67.

And if that wasn’t entertaining enough, Mr. Daddy will eventually get really caught up in the moment, lift his shirt, and do the “Truffle Shuffle” move made notorious by Chunk in the movie ‘The Goonies.’ 76er fans never say die.
