After a short break, 97.3 ESPN's High School Athlete of the Week is back for the Spring sports season.

Here is a new set of local student-athletes who shine on their respective fields, and each is now in the running to take home this week’s Athlete of the Week award.

You can cast your vote below as many times as you’d like, and then you can hear the winner announced live on the South Jersey Sports Report with Mike Frankel every Saturday morning beginning at 9:00.

Mark Benevento, Golf, St. Augustine - The senior shot 2-under against Absegami and 1-under against Mainland for unbeaten Prep.

Ryan Givens, Track and Field, Ocean City - The senior won 3 events at the Bridgeton Relays and 4 events two days later in a dual meet with Vineland.

Denny Brady, Baseball, Buena - The East Carolina pitching recruit got his 100th career hit in a game against Canfield [OH].

Kevin Stokes, Track and Field, Oakcrest - the Senior won the 100 and 200 meters in the Falcons win over Absegami.

Sam Fiocchi, Softball, Buena - The senior pitched all 9 innings and struck out 11 in a win over Rancocas Valley.

Sean Mooney, Baseball, Ocean City - The St. John's recruit beat top-ranked St. Augustine, 5-1, with a 3-hit, 15-strikeout performance.
