Meanwhile, we have a new batch of local student-athletes this week who have proven themselves worthy in their respective fields.

You can make your vote below, and you can hear the winner announced on the South Jersey Sports Report with Tyler Donohue Saturday morning beginning at 9:00.

Ryquell Armstead, Football, Millville - The junior running back continues to excel in the absence of Thunderbolts leading rusher Rob Ennis. Armstead rushed for 275 and five touchdowns in a 55-26 victory over Oakcrest.

Kailey Stangle, Field Hockey, Mainland - She scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Central Regional. Her efforts help pushed the Mustangs to the Group III championship game.
