St. Joe's Rocco Ordille picked up 97.3 ESPN's High School Athlete of the Week honors after an impressive 137 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns against St. Augustine. So, congrats!

Gary Melton, Football, Cedar Creek – The speedster helped the Pirates lock up homefield advantage through the first two rounds of the South Jersey Group II playoffs with four touchdowns in a 55-6 victory over Lower Cape May. Melton rushed for three scores and caught the other touchdown.

Lexi Magruder, Soccer, Egg Harbor Township  – The standout freshman forward scored the game-winner midway through the second half of EHT’s playoff opener. Magruder's goal broke a scoreless stalemate and gave the Eagles a 1-0 advantage over Millville. It’s the first postseason victory in program history.

Robert Ennis, Football, MillvilleThe sophomore running back rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns Wednesday during a nor’easter snowstorm. Ennis and the Thunderbolts beat visiting Hammonton 20-14 to inch closer to clinching a spot in the Group V postseason.

Jeisen Chao, Soccer, Atlantic Christian – He connected on a game-winning penalty kick to give Atlantic Christian a conference title. The game was tied 1-1 after regulation and stayed that way through two extra sessions. Chao’s kick defeated Gloucester Christian in the Tri-State Athletic Conference championship game.

Lizzy Thackston, Soccer, Hammonton – Her overtime goal allowed top-seeded Hammonton to advance to the South Jersey Group IV semifinals. Thackston scored in the extra session to push the Blue Devils ahead of Timber Creek, 3-2.
