Mill rang the bell before the game, sat by Eagles owner Jeffery Lurie during the game, in what was a wild day for the rapper, and added to a wild atmosphere at the Wells Fargo Center.

"When he was in jail I went to visit him," Sixers center Joel Embiid said after the game. "He wasn't feeling good, you could tell he was trying to hold on."

"I was just excited that he got to witness this," Embiid added. "He loves the city so much."

Mill was jailed in November 2017 and serving a 2-4 year sentence for violating his probation by failing a drug test, traveling out of the region and getting arrested for fighting and other related offenses.

The Pennsylvania supreme court ordered his release.
