This Monday is the MLB Trade Deadline and among the names in Trade Rumors on the Phillies are Jeremy Hellickson and Jeanmar Gomez.  In recent weeks the Padres have gotten good returns for underwhelming pitchers Drew Pomeranz and Andrew Cashner.  What does that mean for the Phillies?

ESPN MLB Analyst Alex Cora joined The Sports Bash on Friday and talked about why the Phillies shouldn't hesitate to make a trade of any of their pitchers:

"You saw what happened with Andrew Cashner who has struggled the whole season and what the San Diego Padres just got for him, I won't be surprised if something happens with the Phillies and they can get some more players.  This is the way it is going, it started with the Ken Giles trade last year with the Houston Astros giving all of those prospects to the Phillies and then Kimbrel with the Padres and Shelby Miller with the Diamondbacks and Braves.  So the price is high man and if you got a righty that can help a bullpen you might get two or three prospects, I wouldn't hesitate."
