What is the Future of Mychal Kendricks in Philly?

The Eagles have not approached linebacker Mychal Kendricks about an extension as he enters the final year of his rookie contract.

"I sniffed around a month ago, there was no extension talk." CSNPhilly.com Eagles insider Geoff Mosher said on the Sports Bash.

Would he have a lot of value in a trade?

"I think so," Mosher stated.

The Eagles extended the contract of DeMeco Ryans, traded for Kiko Alonso, gave a raise to Connor Barwin and resigned Brandon Graham to a big deal.

So what does this all mean for Mychal Kendricks future in Philadelphia?

"I have to think something is going to happen with Mychal Kendricks here," Mosher explained. "You have to read between the lines, they traded for Alonso and he is going to play, they just gave Ryans an extension, you don't bring him back under that money to be a back-up so he is going to play.  It wouldn't be shocking to me if Mychal Kendricks was the next guy to go."
