In five home games the Phillies average attendance is 36,259 which is ranked 12th in Major League Baseball so far in 2017.  Overall attendance has been down the last couple seasons with the team averaging in the bottom third of MLB in attendance, the Phillies future is coming with a stacked roster of talent at Triple-A along with 2016 NL All-Star Odubel Herrera entering his third season in Philadelphia.

USA Today Baseball Writer Steve Gardner joined Rich Quinones on Wednesday and discussed what Phillies fans have to look forward to when they attend games at Citizens Bank Park:

"I think Odubel Herrera is probably the guy, right now, you want to go see because he can do a lot of different things.  He can run, he can hit for some power, he can cause some havoc out there, and play some decent defense....But really it's the young players that are coming up through the Minor League system (like) JP Crawford and Roman Quinn who I think will see the Majors very soon and will provide that kind of flashy, exciting play, do some things that maybe you don't see anybody on the roster right now doing.  And I think that's where the excitement for the Phillies (will come from)."
