For the second time in six days, St. Joseph used a tremendous second half effort to pull away from another quality opponent.

The Wildcats scored 20 unanswered points in the final two quarters, boosting their record to 6-1 while handing St. Augustine Prep its first loss of the season.

A’Laam Horne and C.J. LaFragola stole the show for St. Joseph; both players had two touchdown runs apiece. Cody Sampson hauled in a 43-yard reception for a touchdown, and then picked off two passes and recovered a fumble on defense.

It's the second loss to St. Joseph in consecutive seasons for St. Augustine, and only the third overall under head coach Mark Reardon.

97.3 ESPN-FM's Mike Gill shares his thoughts about what he saw from the broadcast booth in Richland, and explains why the Hermits aren't satisfied with "moral victories".

Here are some of the best calls from Friday night, as heard here on 97.3 ESPN-FM:

A. Horne 73-yard touchdown run

S. Horne to C. Sampson 43-yard touchdown pass

D. Harris to A. Baxter 3-yard touchdown pass
