Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said today that he hasn't ruled out the possibility that Ryan Howard  could see some action during spring training.

Howard took some grounders on the field and also soft-toss swings in the batting cage on Monday and took live batting practice Wednesday for the first time since undergoing surgery to repair a torn left Achilles tendon in October.

While he didn't completely rule out playing in a spring game, it is highly unlikely.

Howard spoke today at from Clearwater about his injury and gave an update on what he is able to do and when he thinks he might be back.  Plus, Howard talks about the future, being a ,300 hitter, Jim Thome and much more.
