Before the start of the 2015-2016 NCAA Men's Basketball season, Ben Simmons was considered the presumptive top NBA prospect and he was projected at the 2016 NBA Draft Number One pick.  But his season playing at LSU left some NBA Executives and Media Analysts questioning Simmons ability to take his talent and carry his teammates while making them better.  LSU did not make the 2016 NCAA Tournament and also declined an invite to the NIT Tournament, ending Simmons' season earlier than anticipated.
