With Hartnell Out, Flyers Ink Mike Knuble
In the wake of Scott Hartnell's broken foot, the Flyers, agreed to terms with veteran winger and former Flyer Mike Knuble. The Flyers can sign Knuble after he passes a physical.
Knuble's one-year deal is worth $750,000, a source told ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun.
The 39-year-old Knuble had six goals and 12 assists in 72 games for the Washington Capitals last season.
Knuble took part in Detroit's training camp on a tryout basis, but wasn't able to make the team's opening game roster.
