Year in Review: Cedar Creek Pirates

A historic year of athletics has come to a close at Cedar Creek High School. The school’s second year featured memorable moments throughout the sports spectrum.

Many Pirates athletic programs made the leap to varsity athletics, becoming the new kids on the block in the long-established Cape-Atlantic League. The most important thing to remember is that Cedar Creek only included underclassmen during the 2011-’12 school year.

No seniors. No graduation. No problem.

The Pirates will return more experienced players next year than any athletic department in South Jersey. That bodes well for a student body that has become deeply passionate about its sports programs.

Let’s take a look back at the teams, athletes and stories that made an indelible impact on Cedar Creek’s early athletic legacy.
