Adrian Peterson wants LeSean McCoy to say it with more confidence next time.

Appearing on FOX Sports Radio Wednesday morning, Peterson said he found it funny that McCoy proclaimed himself as the NFL's best RB on ESPN this week.

"I definitely started laughing, it was funny because when Stephen (A. Smith) asked him the question, he kind of hesitated," Peterson said.

Peterson continued to 'pat McCoy on the head' by saying he wants more force from the Eagles running back the next time he opens his mouth.

"He didn't believe it when he said it. I've got to tell the youngsters , 'Next time say it with your chest, man. Like you mean it!"

McCoy started this argument, as he usually does, appearing on ESPN's First Take this week and telling viewers that he believes he is the best running back in the NFL after Peterson held that title the last few seasons.

"I've been All-Pro, first-team, twice. I never leave the field. I block. I catch. I never leave the field. I don't have anybody do my job," McCoy said.

McCoy certainly does have his points, being the better all-around running back especially in a modern day NFL where all facets of the game are important, while Peterson runs with power and force.

The tally continues to rise for McCoy, a notorious trash talker with Osi Umenyiora, Knowshon Moreno and now Peterson.
