Eagles head coach Doug Pederson sounded like he doesn't consider Memphis QB Paxton Lynch as a legitimate option for the team at No. 8.

"I don’t know if [No. 8] would necessarily be the spot to take someone like [Lynch]," Pederson said.

Lynch is an interesting prospect, the 6-foot-7, 244-pounder has just has much talent or more then either Carson Wentz or Jared Goff, he's big, has a strong arm and is mobile. The big knock on Lynch is the offense he played in during his college days at Memphis, a catch and release offense, meaning he didn't have to make a lot of reads.

He had a great senior season, completing 66.8 percent of his passes for 3,774 yards and a 28 touchdowns and just four interceptions.

Draft expert Scott Wright from Draftcountdown.com likes Lynch and thinks he is being overlooked and has him rated higher then Goff.

"I think he can be a rich mans Brock Osweiler," Wright said on the Sports Bash.  "He has a similar type of tool sets, outstanding size, an outstanding arm, he is going to have one of the strongest arms in the NFL immediately, and he is not a statuesque like Joe Flacco, he is a good athlete who can move around and buy time and make plays with his feet as well."

"Im kind of scratching  my head, wondering why there isn't more attention being paid to Lynch.
