The NBA playoffs are beginning this weekend and TNT's sideline reporter Craig Sager will be at the center of it all.

Sager joined Mike Gill and Todd Ranck on "The Sportsbash" Wednesday afternoon to preview the games and talk about his crazy outfits.

"I think they look good, Sager said.

Sometimes they do look better laid out on my bed in the morning than when I see myself on TV later that night."

Sager also talks about his short and very awkward interviews he does with coaches in between quarters, most notably Spurs coach Gregg Popovich.

Sager also talks about his longstanding relationship with Doug Collins.

Collins and Sager know each other from their days in Illinois and Sager's connection to Northwestern University, where Collins son, Chris, is the new basketball coach.

"Don't worry about Doug, he'll land on his feet," said Sager.

TNT and NBA TV’s live coverage of the NBA Playoffs will begin with triple header action on TNT on Sunday, April 21.
