The Eagles signed offensive lineman Barrett Jones from Chicago's practice squad and released lineman Julian Vandervelde on Monday. The team also signed cornerback Mike Lee and linebacker Brandon Hepburn to the practice squad.

Jones had a solid college career at Alabama, but has not had any pro success, with just 23 career snaps in three NFL seasons.

Here are some other injury-related notes from Chip Kelly's media availability:

• Quarterback Sam Bradford will practice on Tuesday, but coach Chip Kelly is unsure of his Week 13 status.  One thing is for sure though, if Bradford is back and ready to play he will be the starter vs. the Patriots.

"Yeah, if he's back healthy he will be the starting quarterback." Kelly stated on Monday.  "We'll see where he is tomorrow. He'll practice tomorrow. I just don't know exactly where we are from a throwing standpoint with him. He threw a little bit on Thursday in Detroit. He wasn't ready to play last Thursday, obviously, but we hope he progresses to a point. And the big test will be tomorrow in terms of him throwing the ball around and seeing if there is residual soreness in terms of being able to continue."

• Ryan Mathews (concussion) has yet to be cleared and Zach Ertz has "advanced," but remains in the league's concussion protocol.

"Mathews has not been cleared yet," Kelly said.  "I don't think Ertz is fully cleared. He has to see the independent [neurologist]. I don't have that exactly for you."
